Is Invisalign Right for You? Find out at Red Rose Family Dental in Lancaster, PA

Is Invisalign Right for You?

Learn more about how Invisalign works to straighten your teeth and find out if it's the right orthodontic solution for you.

Initial Consultation

Before beginning treatment, our dentist will conduct a thorough evaluation to determine if Invisalign is right for you. To qualify for treatment, you must be cavity- and gum disease-free and have mild to moderate misalignment you want to address. More serious misalignment may require another form of braces.

Treatment Plan

If you qualify for Invisalign, our dentist will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan for you. This process involves taking digital, 3D impressions of your teeth, which are used to create your aligners and show you the estimated results of your treatment.

The Aligners

Invisalign uses a set of transparent aligners to gently shift your teeth into their proper position over time. They are BPA-free, virtually invisable and removable, which makes caring for your teeth and the aligners themselves simple.

Evaluating Progress

Although Invisalign aligners are removable, our dentist recommends wearing them most of the day and night. You'll come to our Lancaster, Pennsylvania, office periodically so we can monitor your progress. If your treatment is progressing as expected, we'll supply you with new aligners at these appointments.

Dentist’s Recommendations

Our dentist will provide you with detailed instructions and recommendations so you can properly care for your teeth and aligners throughout your treatment. This includes brushing and flossing and cleaning the aligners themselves after each meal. When your treatment is complete, our dentist will likely recommend a retainer, as it serves to preserve your results long term.

Paying for Invisalign

Unfortunately, dental insurance doesn't always cover Invisalign in its entirety. Our office offers several payment options for Invisalign so you can receive the care you need.
